Both the Waldbad Niesky and the leisure pool in Reichenbach have opened their gates, which particularly pleases the water rats among the citizens.

For the coming week, maximum temperatures of up to 30 degrees Celsius will be predicted, which positively strengthens the decision of Stadtwerke Niesky. The operator announced that the Waldbad remains accessible in the first week of September, but with a change in opening hours. While it usually opened at 10 a.m., the admission will only take place from noon to meet demand and the weather conditions. In Reichenbach, on the other hand, the outdoor pool season is secured for a long time: it was announced that the leisure pool remains open until September 15th. If the weather conditions allow it, the opening times could even be extended by a few days. This depends on the daily weather conditions, which is why the interested parties are asked to find out regularly here.

Another highlight is also in the Reichenbacher outdoor pool: On September 21 and 22, special dog bathroom days are planned, on which the four -legged companions of the bathers can enjoy the water. No chlorine is used for these special days, so Bella and Co. can splash around carefree. However, the animal owners should also take a look at the current information here, since the final adjustments can be made at short notice.

The operators of both facilities are extremely optimistic that the bathing season will be extended by the unexpectedly warm temperatures. This not only contributes to the positive mood among the bathers, but also represents an economic advantage for the operators.
