FCC Leinetal: Austria's fire brigade team dominates in Göttingen!
In an exciting competition in Göttingen, Germany, the FCC Team Austria at Toughest Firefighter Alive (TFA) - a competition that is considered the "Ironman" for firefighters - celebrated impressive success. The competition places high demands on the participants through different, simulated fire brigade operations and fell as part of the Firefighter Combat Challenge (FCC) Leinetal. The Austrian team consisted of four firefighters and showed real performance.
The first place in the relay competition was particularly remarkable, which the team secured with Thomas Schragner, Thomas Bogovits, Andreas and Lukas Gaßner. In the individual competitions, Thomas Schragner shone with a first place in the M55 age group, while Andreas Gaßner took second place in the M50 age group and Thomas Bogovits in M30. Lukas Gaßner also defended a respectable third place in the general men's class. In the tandem competition, Schragner and Gaßner secured third place in the M50 age group. These successes not only prove the extraordinary fitness, but also the professionalism of the team in the fire brigade sport, as www.oe-news.at reports .
