RSV Geismar II defeats SVG Göttingen II and remains unbeaten
In a rousing duel in the 1st district class South, two teams met on Sunday afternoon, each of whom were able to win the first two games of the season with a win. The second team of the RSV Geismar faced the SVG Göttingen reserve on the artificial turf pitch of the BSA Landwehrschenke. Both teams were motivated right from the start, but in the end the host prevailed 2-1 and thus remains unbeaten in the current season. This was the first defeat for the SVG Göttingen.
The first half was characterized by exciting moments and committed moves. In the 19th minute, Luka Samardzic managed the leadership for RSV Geismar II, who pulled the momentum to his side. But the equalization was not long in coming: In the 33rd minute, Finn Jonathan Schewe made the 1-1 halftime score and held the SVG in the game. Both teams went to the cabins with a tie, which gave the audience hope for an exciting second round.
The dramatic second round
The second section started as intensely as the first. Five minutes after the restart, Julian David Duque Torres set the course with his goal to 2-1 for Geismar. The SVG Göttingen tried to turn the game, but the situation worsened for the guests. In the 67th minute, Yapi Jean Miracle Ane was expelled after repeated foul game with a yellow-red card of the square. In this case, coach Karim Abdoulaye had waited too long to protect his player. With one less less, the SVG could no longer build up a suitable pressure and was forced to accept the superiority of the Geismaraner.
The best players in the game were Frenk Günter from RSV Geismar II and Minh Kim do from SVG Göttingen II, both of whom contributed significantly to the course of the game due to their performance. Despite the tricky circumstances on the square, the catering trade also had to suffer under adverse conditions, since the new host of the RSV was ill and the sale of food and drinks at high temperatures was completely. In the critical situation, this ensured a grade of 6 in the audience satisfaction.
