Miriam Cahn receives Kaiserring: Art meets social awareness in Goslar!

Goslar, Deutschland - The Swiss artist Miriam Cahn, 75, was awarded the prestigious emperor of the city of Goslar on Saturday. As the city announced, Cahn has been withdrawn today and rarely travels. For the award ceremony, she created an impressive arm sculpture to which the emperor's ring was symbolically inserted. This total work of art is given the Goslar monke -house Museum in order to make both ring and artwork permanently accessible to the public.

Miriam Cahn is the 49th winner of the emperor, one of the most important art prices in Germany, whose former excellent sizes such as Max Ernst and Joseph Beuys include. During her career, Cahn treated the topics of human injustices and dramas in painting, drawing and photography, recently to flight and war. Until January 27th, the Menchehaus Museum in Goslar will show an exhibition of its works associated with the price. Further details can be found in this honor www.deutschlandfunkkultur.de .
