The collision led to serious injuries to the cyclist, which was brought to the Goslar hospital for treatment. Both the car and the bicycle were damaged, the property damage was estimated at around 2,600 euros.

second accident: alcoholized driver causes total damage

The second accident occurred on the K 29 between Ostharingen and Kunigunde when a 55-year-old driver lost control of his Audi. The car came off the road, overturned the guidelines and crashed into a tree. The driver suffered minor injuries, but was arrested due to his clear alcohol consumption. A breath alcohol test resulted in a value of over 1.3 per thousand, whereupon a blood sample was removed and his driver's license was collected. The total damage to the vehicle is estimated at around 10,000 euros.
