A wave of outrage and concern has gripped the citizens of Gotha after a petrol station in Leinastraße was attacked this morning. An armed man threatened the employee with a knife and forced her to hand over cash from the cash register. Fortunately, despite the traumatic experience, the employee remained physically unharmed.
The perpetrator, who fled with a low three -digit amount, is described as a slim man from 175 to 180 cm in size. At the time of the crime, he carried a light gray sweat jacket, dark trousers, a black hood over his head, dark gloves and white sneakers and carried a white plastic bag with it. The gotha appeals to witness that can provide relevant information on the identification of the perpetrator.
In particular, the criminal police ask people who were in the area of the petrol station between 05:00 a.m. and 05:25 a.m., as well as customers who were in the shop at the time to help inform the case. Any observation, however small, could be crucial to make the perpetrator down and prevent further robberies.
The security and well -being of the citizens of Gotha come first, and the police are working hard to hold the perpetrator into account. Every hint, however, is so minor, can be of great importance to ensure the security of the community and deter potential criminals.
