Gotha plants three oak forests: be part of the anniversary!

On the occasion of the 2025 city anniversary, Gotha plans the reforestation of three oak forests on the Boxberg. This initiative, which is funded by a large donation project, provides for the planting of a total of 3,750 grape oaks. On November 30, 2024, citizens are invited to actively participate in the planting campaign together with Mayor Knut Kreuch. The meeting point is at 8:45 a.m. at the "Thuringian Waldblick" restaurant.

for the forests - the "Forest of the 1,250", the "Birthday Forest 775" and the "Jubilee Forest 2025" - donations are still collected. For the “Birthday Forest 775”, almost 3,000 euros are currently missing to reach the donation goals. With a donation of 12.50 euros, everyone can contribute to planting a tree.
