An incredible treasure in the middle of Friedrichroda: Reinhardsbrunn Castle, which was exposed to decay for years, now shines in new splendor. During an exclusive inspection we were able to experience the progressive restoration work up close.

The renovation of the castle is progressing quickly. The interior work in the castle chapel, which is already in full swing. But there was also a special revelation on the roof: a golden cross that is now proud of the sun.

At this historical moment, top -class personalities were present, including Hendrik Schröter from the Thuringian Ministry of Construction and the architect Alexander Pfohl, who jointly unveiled the Golden Cross. The mayor of Friedrichroda, Kay Brückmann, and Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow, too, did not miss the opportunity to take part in this important ceremony. Stonemason master Frank Ehmig, Sylke Niebur, the 2nd deputy in the Gotha district office, and Johann-Philipp Jung, speaker in the Thuringian Infrastructure Ministry were also present
