Wild accident and car theft: dramatic incidents in the Gotha district
In the Gotha district, there was a serious game accident on Monday morning, which gave two drivers injuries. A 51-year-old who was traveling with his Opel on the L1025 from Ernstroda towards Schnepfenthal suddenly faced a deer. To avoid a collision with the wild animal, he tried to break out and got on the other road.
The unfortunate incident led the Opel to collide with the deer and then with an oncoming Skoda. The two drivers, the 51-year-old from the Opel and the driver of the Skodas, a 48-year-old man, were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The whereabouts of the deer remains tragically, the state of which the police did not provide any information. The two vehicles involved had to be towed after the accident, which temporarily impaired the traffic situation.
further incidents in the region
But the incidents in the Gotha district were not yet over. Another incident of considerable interest occurred last Friday: a man previously unknown had stolen an expensive vehicle during a viewing appointment in a car dealership in Dachwig. The perpetrator apparently was interested in a Mercedes Benz S63 AMG, worth around 87,000 euros. After the car dealership employee had found that the supposed customer and the car had disappeared, the police were alerted.
The police have asked witnesses to report to relevant information. This could be of great importance for the investigation, since there are currently no specific indications of the perpetrator. The mishap with the stolen vehicle again shows that caution and vigilance are required in such situations to prevent such thefts.
In summary, it can be said that both the game accidents and criminal activities in the Gotha region should attract the attention of the population and the police. At a time when traffic safety and the protection of property are of great importance, it remains crucial to stay careful and report incidents immediately.
