Dachstuhl fire in Bad Bentheim: Restaurant is on fire!

in Bad Bentheim yesterday after 4:22 p.m. a devastating fire broke out in a restaurant on Ochtruper Straße. The roof structure of the restaurant was on fire, and despite the quick intervention of the fire brigades from Bad Bentheim, Gildehaus and Schüttorf, the building burned out completely. Fortunately, the restaurant was closed at the time of the incident, which prevented injuries or worse. Nevertheless, the property damage incurred amounts to around 500,000 euros. The exact circumstances that led to the fire are currently still unclear and are determined by the police.
