Franzirobots 1 triumphs at the regional decision in Lingen!
On February 8, 2025, the international research and robot competition of the first-time research and robot competition of the first® Lego® League took place in the innovation center of the Rosen Group, in which "Franzirobots 1" from the Franziskusgymnasium Lingen were able to win overall. With this victory, the team qualified for the semi -finals in Aachen. A total of ten teams from Emsland, the county of Bentheim and the Münsterland took part in the competition.
The event that the Rosen Group has been organized since 2017 recorded a large number of registrations, so that a waiting list had to be opened. Around 100 pupils had prepared for the competition for about six months, in which they constructed and programmed autonomous Lego robots as well as research projects on the motto "submerged". The students' presentations were assessed by a jury consisting of employees of the Rosen Group and Rosext. The categories of research, robot design and basic values were taken into account.
