Lower Saxony is investing 1.9 million euros in Grafschaft Bentheim!
The state of Lower Saxony has taken a significant step towards promoting tourism in the county of Bentheim. A holiday department in Wilsum plans the expansion of its campsite and receives financial support of around 1.9 million euros. This reports ndr.de . The district administrator of the Bentheim district expressed hope that this measure will contribute to further growth in the tourism location in the west of Lower Saxony.
The holiday department plans to invest more than eight million euros in the expansion, which also includes the purchase of so-called Eco-Cabins, sustainable houses. The Weser-Ems Office also supports the project with around 1.3 million euros. Another hotel in Schüttorf was also selected for funding and receives around 650,000 euros for the expansion, including new rooms and projects for regenerative energy generation.
