Nordshow 2025: Rabbit breeders celebrate great success in Hardenberg!

Hardenberg, Niederlande - In January, the 44th noord show took place in Hardenberg, which is known as the largest small animal show in the Netherlands. This important event attracted several thousand visitors from home and abroad and presented around 4000 animals.

The Noord Show, organized by a merger of several associations from the Dutch provinces, is called "Mecca" by breeders and animal lovers. In addition to rabbits, small rodents, breed wings and ornamental birds were also exhibited. Heike Roters from the district association of the Grafschaffer Rass racial breeders emphasized the variety of small animal breeding.

The noordshow was opened by Mayor Offinga and took place in the Even pensions in Hardenberg, where around 12,000 animals, including many farm animals, were presented. Due to measures against the threat from bird flu, many types of ornamental chickens and water birds could not be exhibited.
