It is crucial that the discourse in society not only offers space for various views, but also for healthy resistance to ideologies that were part of a repressive past.

It remains to be seen how long these demonstrations will be tolerated in public without leading to greater tensions. It is extremely important that society actively deals with these events and discusses what this symbolism actually means for the people living today. This is the only way to ensure a fair compensation between freedom of expression and public security.
