Ludwigsburg Castle shines in butter cream - renovation enthusiastically!

Ludwigsburg, Deutschland - The renovation of the historical Renaissance castle Ludwigsburg in Loissin near Greifswald is in full swing and attracts visitors in droves. With improved access, guests can now admire the impressive baroque stucco ceiling from 1650 in the red salon up close. The chairman of the association, Gunnar Peters, explains that visitors can now stand directly in the room instead of having to linger on a barrier. A new coat of paint of the facade, which is humorously referred to as "butter cream or lemon ice cream", gives a first impression of what the building complex will look like after completion.

Visitors can take part in free tours as part of the castle autumn until next Friday. At the opening of the 250th birthday of the famous painter Caspar David Friedrich, letters were read out at the opening. A total of over 100 people visited the palace complex in the past week, which was built between 1577 and 1592. The renovation is expected to take ten years and costs around 40 million euros, with the first steps to be initiated. Further information on the renovation can be found in a recent report at www.n-tv.de .
