New "Heide-Simonis-Platz" in Bordesholm is reminiscent of significant personality

A new place is renamed Bordesholm in honor of a well -known personality. Heide Simonis, the former Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein, died a year ago at the age of 80. Today at 11:00 a.m., the square in front of the town hall is officially inaugurated as a "Heide Simonis Platz" to appreciate your life's work.

Heide Simonis lived in Bordesholm from 1977 to 2003 and significantly shaped the political landscape of the federal state. The renaming of the square is a tribute to your merits and its commitment to the region.
