Pupils on a journey of discovery: MINT competition in Hamburg enthusiastic!

On September 30, 25 students from the Neustadt coastal high school broke up for an exciting day trip to Hamburg, accompanied by three teachers and Dr. Georg Heerten, the MINT project manager of the Rotary Club Neustadt-Ostsee. The excursion was organized by the Rotary Club in recognition of the students who took part in the 7th MINT competition on the subject of “sustainability”. The project was supported by a generous donation from the Rotary Club Kühlungsborn-Bad Doberan.

In Hamburg, the students visited the chocolate museum, where they could learn everything about chocolate production and even created their own chocolate. Subsequently, interesting tours of the groups were waiting in the international maritime museum for the groups that deal with topics such as navigation and marine research. The supervisors praised the students for their exemplary behavior. The participants can soon look forward to the next MINT competition, which is due to start on November 14th, such as www.der- Reporter.de reported.
