15 years of hammer summer fun: The big anniversary in Hamm!

Summer is finally here and with it the annual spectacle of the "hammer summer fun" also starts. This event has been attracting visitors from near and far into downtown Hamm.

This year there is a double celebration in Hamm, because not only the "hammer summer fun" marks the age of 15, the Da Vinci stage also celebrates its 10th anniversary. In the past, stages were borrowed, but now the Da Vinci stage has firmly enrolled into the event program. The "hammer summer fun" is organized by the association to promote the Martin Luther district as part of the cultural summer.

start with cover band "Waerk2"

The “Waerk2” cover band will give the starting shot for this year's summer fun on July 11th. They promise an entertaining evening with a wide repertoire of handmade skirt and both male and female lead singing. Every Thursday in the summer vacation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. there is a diverse program on stage, and as always, admission is free.

over 50 bands and groups applied for this year's “hammer summer fun”, but only six were selected. In the coming weeks, various bands from Hamm and the surrounding area will show their skills. From rock cover bands to soul to Latin there is something for every music taste.
