16-year-old in Hamm again arrested by the federal police due to the possession of drugs and guns

Federal Police North Rhine-West

In a nightly campaign at Hamm-Heessen station, federal police officers discovered a 16-year-old young person who had various narcotics and weapons. This renewed encounter with the authorities was only a few months after a similar incident in March.

The young man from Hamm attracted the attention of the federal police through his conspicuous behavior. This caused it to be subjected to more thorough control. During the survey, he handed over a sofa weapon to the officials, which at first glance looked deceptively real. During the further search, two forbidden one -handed knives as well as an ecstasy table and a small amount of amphetamine were found.

Due to these finds, the young criminal proceedings according to the Narcotics and Weapons Act were initiated. After consulting his legal guardian, he was released home.
