Hamm receives third mobile video surveillance: New at the Westentor!

From November 15, 2024, mobile video surveillance in Hamm will be expanded by a third location. The Hammer police announced this. The surveillance systems are currently active at two locations: at the train station and on Südstraße. The new location on the Westentor is put into operation after the return of the mobile video trailer from Soest, where it is used for the All Saints' Day.

In total, there are two mobile video surveillance systems, but they are used flexibly between the three locations. Each system is equipped with six cameras, two of which serve the self -monitoring, while the others record the events in the area. The live broadcasts of the recordings are transmitted directly to the police control center to enable an immediate reaction. Further details are here
