New café at Weststrasse 18: Geiping will soon open in Hamm
New café and bakery branch in Hamm opened on August 8th
The Geiping bakery is expanding its offer and opened a new café and bakery branch at Weststrasse 18 in Hamm on August 8. The company, which has its headquarters in Lüdinghausen, will open its 51st branch.
The location in Hamm will be the third branch after Geiping is already represented on Dortmunder Strasse and on Marker Allee. It is interesting that Geiping will not act as part of an EDEKA market, but as an independent café and bakery location.
So far, Weststrasse 18 has been operated by Sondermann bread from Drolshagen after the predecessor sieve law had run there for ten years. At the end of the rental agreement, Sondermann withdrew from the city center at the end of May, and Geiping GmbH & Co. KG took over the location seamlessly. The company is currently modernizing the indoor and outdoor area and is planning to offer 30 café places inside and around 35 places outside.
The range of goods will include the full range with bread, pastries, cakes and breakfast. About nine to 13 employees will be employed in the branch, which are currently being brought into the processes at other locations. The opening in Hamm accidentally falls into the 100th anniversary of Geiping, so special promotions are planned in the Hammer city center.
The opening of the new Geiping branch shows a continued development in Hamm's catering trade, which is also evidenced by the recent opening of the "Kebap Haus". The variety of gastronomic offers in the city is growing steadily, and citizens can look forward to new options for eating and drinking. - nag
