Taiwan in danger: China's new military exercise sends warning signals!

Taiwan, China - Beijing has started a massive military maneuver around Taiwan, which is seen as a sharp warning to the "separatist" forces of the island. Ships and aircraft approached several directions, and state media published a map that showed six large red blocks in which the exercises are held. This maneuver follows a festive speech by the Taiwanese President Lai Ching-Te during the national holiday on October 10, which was seen as a provocation of Beijing.

The current exercise, which runs under the name "Joint sword-2024b", follows a similar large military exercise in May, which took place according to Lais inauguration. The ruling democratic progress party (DPP) has taken a Beijing-critical course, which caused Chinese criticism. China sees Taiwan as anetomy province and continuously threatens military actions to assert control over the democratically elected government on the island.
