Eisbears celebrate the fourth victory in series: 5-2 in Duisburg!
The Tilburg Trapper celebrated an impressive 9-2 victory against the Herner team on Sunday evening and thus achieved their second victory of the weekend in the Oberliga Nord. The offensive of the Dutch showed up in top form, especially the two import players Kobe Roth and Phil Marinaccio, each achieving a hat trick. For Herne it was the third defeat in a row, a bitter setback for the team.
In the meantime, the Hanover Scorpions continued their triumphal march by defeating the mosquitoes of eating in an exciting duel with 4: 3 in overtime. Jordan Knackstedt scored the decisive goal by penalty after only 27 seconds in extra time. In another game, the hammer polar bears were able to score their fourth win of the season with a clear 5-2 victory over Duisburg and thus strengthened their place in the upper table region. The Finn Miro Markkula contributed two goals to success, including the decisive goal. In the table, the polar bears are currently in fourth place, behind the top teams from Hanover, Tilburg and Essen.
