On Tuesday afternoon, there was a serious accident on the L66 near Quedlinburg, in which two people were injured. A 49-year-old wanted to turn left towards Braunschweig at the A36 driveway to the Quedlinburg-Ost and overlooked the oncoming car of a 38-year-old. The collision was violent: the vehicle of the person who caused the accident was thrown onto a traffic island, while the woman's car crashed into a protective bank.

The force of the impact meant that the woman was seriously injured and the man was slightly injured. Rescue workers immediately brought the Quedlinburg Clinic. Both cars are no longer ready to drive due to the damage, and the police estimate the total damage to around 15,000 euros.
