Another fire near Oranienbaum, not far from a residential area and an area of ​​ammunition, has also triggered great concern. Near the historic Oranienbaum Castle, there was a massive fire service, in which around 180 firefighters were involved. Unfortunately, a fireman was injured during the extinguishing work and had to be taken to the hospital. The fire brigade informed that the extinguishing work will continue at night without interruption.

The current situation illustrates the persistent risk of forest fires, which increasingly becomes a serious problem in the region. The authorities appeal to the residents of exercising caution and not to endanger nature unnecessarily. Despite the dramatic events, there is hope that the emergency services can regain control over the foci of fire as quickly as possible.
