In an impressive ceremony in Ribbeck Castle, Blucher GmbH from Premnitz was awarded the economic award of the Havelland district. The company, which has been based in the district for 20 years, produces vital protective suits used by the organization for the ban on chemical weapons (OPCW). Over 90 employees are currently employed and the tendency is rising. Sebastian Zimmermann from Blücher GmbH called the prize to make a trust for the company, which has been producing products against chemical threats for 55 countries, including 22 NATO countries for more than 60 years.

The price, endowed with 1000 euros, will be awarded for the 28th time this year, and the jury was not easy to choose the award winners, since not all decisions were made unanimously. In addition to Blucher GmbH, the Ziehm bakery from Falkensee was also awarded in the category "Companies with fewer than 50 employees". The youth promotion award went to the comprehensive school "Immanuel Kant" in Falkensee. The award ceremony took place in a festive atmosphere, with musical accompaniment through the baton ensemble of the music and art school.
