The accident occurred around 11:00 p.m. when a 26-year-old cyclist tried to overtake the bike driving in front of him. Due to a lack of side spacing, he overlooked the 50-year-old driver and the collision occurred. The woman fell and suffered a forearm fracture that required treatment in a Heidelberg hospital. The cause of the accident is now displayed for negligent bodily harm, while the Heidelberg-Mitte police station heads the investigation.
