Possible weather warning: thunderstorms, heavy rain and storm threaten in Baden-Württemberg

strong thunderstorm meets Heilbronn: Citizens on alert

in Heilbronn and surrounding counties threaten a strong thunderstorm this Friday. The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued an official warning of storms that ask the citizens to take precautions.

The upcoming storms will be accompanied by violent gusts of wind with speeds of up to 70 kilometers per hour. Heavy rain cases with a rainfall of up to 25 liters per square meter within an hour are also expected. There is even the possibility of hail.

lightning strikes, falling branches and aquaplaning on the streets are other dangers, in front of which the residents in Heilbronn and the Hohenlohekreis, Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis, Main-Tauber-Kreis, Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, and the city of Heidelberg, Schwäbisch Hall, Rems-Murr-Kreis, Ludwigsburg, Ostalbkreis, Eslingen, Eslingen, Eslingen Göppingen, Heidenheim and Reutlingen are warned.

Although the weather warning is lifted in the morning at 7 a.m., the population should remain vigilant during the day. Schauer and thunderstorms will show up again and again during the day, and in the evening an increase in thunderstorm activities is expected again. The night is expected to be gradually weakening the storm.
