Running alpine hustle and bustle in the Basthorster Forest: murderous action for Nord near Nordwest
A wild shootout has transformed the picturesque backdrop of the Gut Basthorst to the film set for the popular ARD crime series "Nord near Northwest". In the new episode "Pechmarie", which is to be broadcast in early 2026, four people are killed. The story is about Moritz Hansen, played by Pascal Houdos, who is found dead in the forest - probably because of a failed drug business. During the filming, a dramatic chase scenario leads through the Basthorster Forest, in which the leading actress Anne Zander as "unlucky" brings the investigators on its way.
The heavyweight of the shooting was on the staging of action and tension: Director Joana Vogdt had to adapt the camera settings again and again to achieve the best recordings. In a scene, Houdos escaped through the forest while shots are fired on him. The crew ensured that technology and team remained invisible in the background, which meant considerable effort. In the plot, the pursuers are also after the disappeared money, while the dramatic development around Moritz's death is worried. That makes you curious about the upcoming revelations in the popular crime series! You can read more about this at www.ln-online.de .
