On the A6: Dramatic accident between Mannheim and Viernheim!

On the evening of October 2, 2024, around 7:30 p.m., there was a traffic accident on the A6 motorway, between the Mannheim and Viernheim motorway junctions. A 54-year-old woman who drove her Dacia towards Darmstadt had to slow down. Shortly thereafter, the traffic stuck again and it could not brake in time, which led to a rear -end collision with a VW traveling in front.

The 37-year-old driver of the VW was slightly injured and taken to the hospital for further examination. Both cars were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. The total damage amounts to around 14,000 euros, whereby 10,000 euros are omitted on the Dacia alone.
