Alkolen engineer crashed against panel vans: multi-kilometer congestion on the A3!

In the early morning hours of October 9, 2024, a serious accident occurred on the A3 in the direction of Frankfurt: a car with a Frankfurt license plate raced into a Polish panel van. The completely confusing events took place at 04:03 a.m. when both vehicles drove on the middle lane. The collision led to minor injuries to the 35-year-old driver and his passenger, who were immediately brought to surrounding hospitals. Fortunately, the panel car driver remained intact, but the car suffered total damage.

When the accident recording, the police found that the car driver was heavily alcoholic-with alarming 2.17 per thousand. He also had no valid driver's license. After a blood sample in the hospital, both vehicles were towed. The blocking of the right and medium lane led to a long traffic jam of around 4 kilometers due to the onset of rush hour. A dramatic incident that once again clearly illustrates the dangers of alcohol at the wheel!
