New head of prevention in Central Hesse: Yvonne Ruppersberg takes over!
Yvonne Ruppersberg has taken over the management of the prevention department of the police headquarters in Middle Hesse! The experienced 51-year-old chief crime commissioner succeeded Sylvia Cheeky at the end of August, who left the authority.
Ruppersberg, which has an impressive career in the criminal police, has had extensive experience in the field of sexual abuse of children and adolescents and child pornography. Until her change, she was deputy head of the responsible commissioner 12, which is now known as the "Central Commissioner Focus". She started her career at the criminal police in Frankfurt before being moved to Middle Hesse in 2010. So she not only has specialist knowledge, but also a deep passion for prevention work!
The new director lives together with her husband and adult daughter in Marburg and is ready to bring a breath of fresh air to the police prevention initiatives.
