New police vice president Dirk Fornoff takes responsibility in South Hesse
The police headquarters in South Hesse has a new police vice president: Dirk Fornoff, 52, succeeds Rudi Heimann, who moved to the Hessian State Criminal Police Office in January 2024. Today, on September 26, State Police President Robert Schäfer officially presented the commissioning to Fornoff and praised his many years of experience and commitment as an enrichment for the Hessian police.
Fornoff, who started his career as a protective man, only returned to the South Hesse police headquarters in October 2023 after working in various functions with the Hessian police for two decades, including the police headquarters in Frankfurt and Southeasthessen. Before he was appointed Vice President, he was head of the Department. In his new role, Fornoff emphasizes the importance of an open exchange in the team in order to ensure that the citizens and transparent police work.
