Hessen celebrates the European Statistics Day: Numbers that explain our world!

On the occasion of the 9th European Statistics Day on October 20, the Hessian Statistical Office (HSL) presents nine exciting facts about its essential role as a data producer in Hesse. The answers to central questions about official statistics and insights into digital survey methods are available in a new contribution on the HSL website. This year's focus is on the motto "Official statistics, a window for understanding society", which underlines the importance of these statistics for the daily life of Hessen.

In addition, the HSL calls for participation in the European statistics competition, which gives students in grades 8 to 13 the opportunity to try an important competition. The four best German teams move into the European final and can win attractive prizes. The registration deadline ends on November 11, 2024.
