Lidl in Hildburghausen closes after 32 years: Customers are horrified!

A shock for all bargain hunters in Hildburghausen! The Lidl, which was the city's shopping heart for over 32 years, is now closing! Thuringia24 already reported this upcoming closure in May - and the reactions of customers are anything but euphoric!

In the district town, an important supplier closes its doors, and while some customers process the loss with regret, others are clearly dissatisfied. "Featuring Thuringia" captured the voices of the angry buyers who let their displeasure run free.

Finally the Lidl is gone!

The end of an era! The Lidl in Hildburghausen was not only a shop, but also part of everyday life. Loyal regular customers like Kerstin P. and Monika H. are frustrated. "The fresh fruit and vegetable area was simply unbeatable! And the flower shop was ideal at the cemetery," complains Monika. The well -known neighborhood to the employees also no longer exists - "It feels like the community breaks!"

Where the two will now be done their purchases is in the stars. "The way to the Lidl was short and convenient - where is that still?" Asks Kerstin desperately.

Contra from the customer: Netto, but no Lidl!

But not everyone is sad about the closure. Hartmut L. sees it calmly: "The building has long been in need of renovation. Hildburghausen has more shops to offer!"

While some mourn the closure, another group is annoyed by the competitive situation. Petra S. makes no secret of her aversion to the net branch and draws the comparison: "A net can be clearly gone, it is a dirty shop!" She is now planning to buy in a future -oriented manner.

With the final locking of the Lidl on August 1, the Hildburghauseners still have a wide range. In addition to the two existing net markets, Rewe, Kaufland, Edeka, Aldi and Norma are also available. A big range despite the sad news about your favorite discounter!

The citizens are torn: there is often no understanding of the closure. But while the city is changing, the shopping pleasure remains in many ways - even without Lidl.
