A planned children's service quickly became the exciting exit when Tanja Rommel and Pastor Steffen Pospischil decided to climb the church tower! During this installation, Rommel got an exciting insight into the diverse tasks of a pastor. Pospischil announced that the work goes far beyond the maintenance of services and the administer of Lord's Supper.
Pastors are also responsible for pastoral care, baptisms, confirmations, wedding ceremonies and funerals. These dates must be organized and coordinated properly! They also conduct church groups, teach confirmands and are often active in schools as a religion teacher. And that's not all: the administration of a parish also requires a lot of commitment, including the organization of volunteer work and the maintenance of church buildings.
