Forbidden car racing on B1: Police are looking for further witnesses!

On Saturday afternoon there was a dangerous incident on federal road 1: two drivers endangered traffic by overtaking each other and accelerating, despite oncoming traffic. The police were alerted around 4:10 p.m. when other road users reported the risky driving style of the two vehicles, a green Mercedes and a white Toyota Lexus. To avoid a collision, oncoming cars had to brake.

Thanks to the witnesses' information, the drivers could finally be stopped. Criminal proceedings are now underway against dangerous road traffic attacks and illegal races, and their driver's licenses have been confiscated. The police are still looking for other people who were also involved in the incident. In particular, road users who had to brake when the Toyota or the Mercedes had to be overtaken are asked to report to the Sarstedt police on 0 50 66/98 50, as reported.
