Concert in Bevern: Young talents are preparing for great competition!
Bevern, Deutschland - Gloria Konrad, a violinist from Warbsen, and Jan Konath, a percussionist from Stadtoldendorf, have achieved first places in their instrumental categories in the regional competition “Youth Music” in Hameln. Both musicians have thus qualified for the Lower Saxony state competition, which takes place in Oldenburg from March 20 to March 22nd. The Freundeskreis Schloss Bevern congratulates them on their success.
To prepare for the state competition, the Freundeskreis organizes a public concert on March 8 at 11 a.m. in the Bevern palace chapel. Entry to this concert is free. The program is also supplemented by other young musicians, including the flutists Jan Schillert and Alexander Urbanski and the mix ensemble of the music school Einbeck.

“youth music” is a weekly competition that motivates and promotes young musicians. Every year, thousands take part in the categories of solo or ensemble. The competition supports both amateur music and young people with professional ambitions. It is important that the participants are not yet in a musical vocational training or practice.
The competition is divided into three phases: over 160 regional competitions, followed by the state competitions and finally a federal competition for the first places in the state competitions.
