A dramatic accident shook Ingolstadt on Tuesday afternoon! A 72-year-old cyclist was seriously injured when he crashed into the open driver door of a parked VW touran. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Kepplerstrasse, just a few meters from the confluence with Richard-Wagner-Straße.

The 52-year-old driver had parked his car on the right side of the road and opened the door, unsuspecting that the cyclist who came from Richard-Wagner-Strasse was just approaching.
