microbiologist Ralf Ehrlicht and biophysicist Christian Eggeling from the University of Jena will present an exciting lecture on the world of bacteria on Saturday, November 2. Under the title "Physics and Bacteria" they provide insights into the physical properties and observation methods of these tiny organisms. The event begins at 10.30 a.m. in the large lecture hall at Max-Wien-Platz 1 and is part of the popular Saturday lectures by the physical-astronomical faculty for the winter semester 2024/25. In addition, a family -friendly tour through the special exhibition on the Collegium Jensense takes place on the same day.
