Max-Wien-Platz, 07743 Jena, Deutschland - The city of Jena announces two significant full closures for the coming week! From November 4 to December 20, the intersection area on Max-Wien-Platz, including Lessingstraße and Kritzgraben, will be completely closed. The reason for this is necessary renovation work on the mixed water canal. Around 45 meters of the canal are renewed and enlarged, in addition 30 meters of gas line and 10 meters of drinking water pipe must be transferred. Drivers have to adjust to restrictions: the Lessingstraße and the Kritzgraben are not available, but an access from the street of June 17 towards Kritzgraben is possible.

In addition, the access to paradise is also fully blocked from November 4 to December 20, to carry out civil engineering work on a drinking water pipe. Pedestrians and cyclists are guided in front of the Neutor via diversions on the tram route. All diversion routes are clearly signposted.
