Jena students bring light into the dark: help for Lugoj!
Four students from the Angergymnasium Jena made an impressive trip to Romania at the beginning of the autumn holidays. Together with two members of the partnership association between Lugoj and Jena, they brought teaching materials and book donations for the German School in Lugoj. Donations such as copy paper and office items from the Böttcher office market were also handed over to the school and gratefully accepted there.
It is particularly noteworthy that the students also distributed aid packages to needy families in Lugoj, including two large families who live under very simple conditions. The campaign was further proof of the commitment of the school community, which again collected donations for the twin city.
