IB Mitte gGmbH plans to redesign the location on Herrenberge 3 into a modern habitat with 95 new living spaces, including single quarters and double rooms that will be equipped with sanitary facilities and installation kitchens. The work should be completed by the end of 2026. "We set new standards with this renovation," says Britta Weigand from IB Mitte gGmbH. The measure follows repeated urban political demands to improve living conditions for trainees in Jena.
