Exciting Saale duel: HFC defeats Jena 2-1 in front of 9655 fans!

The Hallesche FC defeated FC Carl Zeiss Jena 2-1 in an exciting regional league-north-east game in front of 9,655 spectators. The match was characterized by fast play and hard -guided duels. Jena started strong, but couldn't play out any real chances. The HFC had to replace an injured captain, Niklas Landgraf in the 24th minute. In the 33rd minute, the first goal for Halle fell: Jan Löhmannsröben headed the ball into the net after a corner kick by Joe Richardson. Jena came close to Erik Weinhauer in the 36th minute, but only hit the post while the HFC led to the break.
