Doreen Hesse from Thuringia faces a shocking challenge that not only breaks her own heart, but also touches that of the entire community. Her beloved dog "Spike", which has been by your side for more than a decade, urgently needs medical treatment to save your life.

A serious emergency for spike

"Spike" is currently suffering from a perineal hernia that, if it remains untreated, can become a fatal danger for the four -legged friend. This diagnosis has brought Doreen and her family into a desperate location because the costs for the necessary operation of 1,600 euros are unaffordable for them. "He has such pain and can hardly leave water. I give everything to help him," explains Doreen. It is a painful decision in front of it: either the operation or the unimaginable end of his life, sleeping.

She has already asked friends and acquaintances for help and used up some savings. "Unfortunately, it is not enough," she complains.

"Spike" is much more than just a pet for Doreen - he is a family member and a loyal companion. Since he is half a year old, they have share their lives together. The first difficult moments occurred when "Spike" fell ill with just one year of epilepsy. Doreen describes the time as unbearable, but she never thought of giving him up. "I always gave everything for him," emphasizes Doreen full of emotions.
