The RC JL sends four young people from the district to an international adventure

Four young people open new horizons

On the last weekend in June, the Rotary Club JL said goodbye to four brave young people from the district for an exciting adventure abroad. Wilhelmine Dittmann from Möckern, Johanna Golz, Gero Kleine and Jette Rasch from Genthin were warmly adopted by their families and friends at a preparatory event in Wolfsburg. The upcoming journey promises interesting cultural experiences and personal growth.

The young people have the unique opportunity to explore new countries as part of the international exchange program and to be accommodated in host families. Thanks to the support of the Rotary Club JL and the global rotar network, you will be accompanied and looked after by experienced mentors to enable you for an unforgettable year abroad.

journey of discovery into the distance

The travel destinations of the four young people are as diverse as they are fascinating. Johanna Golz will immerse yourself in the pulsating capital Taipei, Taiwan. Gero Kleine is looking forward to his adventure in Brazil and Jette Rasch will explore the colorful Mexico. Every host country promises exciting insights into new cultures and traditions.

After intensive preparations and discussions about cultural and linguistic topics, the exchange students are facing an exciting year full of new experiences. They are not only representatives of their home region, but also ambassadors of peace, who contribute to communication between different countries and cultures through the intercultural exchange.

The Rotary Club JL and the incumbent President, Konstanze Nolte, wish the four young ambassadors an unforgettable stay abroad. Your journey will not only enrich your personal development, but also help to build bridges between different cultures and to set a sign of peace and understanding.
