In Biederitz, the 40th EHEFEST was celebrated last weekend, an event that brought together the community and represents an example of cooperation. Despite financial challenges, the responsible people found creative ways to create a successful event.

The budget restrictions meant that some traditional elements of the festival, such as a marquee and the popular raffle, could not take place as usual. Nevertheless, the local associations, including the fire brigade, the kindergartens and the youth club, managed to design a varied and entertaining program. These organizations came together and offered a variety of activities for all ages, which strengthened the community spirit in the city.
