In the event of an emergency, every second counts! We all know that. Therefore, it is all the more important that our children are fit in first aid. In Saxony-Anhalt, this idea is now very important!

The Ministry of Education under the direction of Minister Eva Feußner (CDU) is part of it! With an ambitious plan, more schools in Saxony-Anhalt will soon offer first aid courses for students in the 7th classes. The starting signal is still in this school year - and not only Magdeburg and the district of Jerichower Land are affected, but also many other regions are integrated into the exciting model project.

This is about the most important thing: the right measures in an emergency! Circulation arrest, cardiac massages and the life-saving mouth-to-mouth ventilation are on the curriculum. The students are not only trained theoretically, they can also practice "on the doll" - how cool is that?

A real hands-on approach that shows that those responsible are seriously interested in creating awareness of life-saving measures among young people. A real plus for education in Saxony-Anhalt!

The idea behind this plan is not new, because the CDU, SPD and FDP have already agreed in the coalition agreement that first aid courses must become an integral part of school lessons. But now it gets serious! The Ministry of Education has even closed a cooperation with the emergency services to train students in the best possible way.
