Action days We are colorful in the head: Experience dementia alive in Kaiserslautern!

The network dementia in Kaiserslautern continues its series of action "We are colorful in the head" and invites you to versatile events. The aim of these days is not to see the diagnosis of dementia as the end of life, but as part of everyday life. The focus is on open exchange, information spread and help, while activities such as hobbies and cultural events are to be promoted to improve the quality of life and to preserve independence.

As part of the 2024 campaign days, visitors can expect a fascinating program: On October 26, the Chawwerusch Theater will perform the “Maria Hilf” chamber game in the Edith-Stein-Haus, while on November 2, a poetry slam with Leah Weigand and Katharina Stahl will take place in the Pfalztheater. Both events are free of charge, but the places are limited, which is why registration at n.joerg@kv-kls-drk.de is required. The initiative therefore not only offers entertainment, but also the possibility of informing yourself about the topic of dementia and thus promoting a positive basic attitude.
