His last stop as a coach was Kas Eupen in Belgium, where he worked from July 2023 to March 2024. However, Kohfeldt is not a stranger in German football, since he previously trained at Werder Bremen and VfL Wolfsburg. Many people in Bremen particularly remember, where he led the team over 143 games to the Bundesliga. After a rather unfortunate period in Wolfsburg, where he only coached 28 games and scored a point cut of 1.14, he is now ready to take a new beginning in Darmstadt.
